The Heights, Bluffs Welcomes First Resident.  

October 16, 2025

The Heights, Bluffs welcomes it’s first resident, 9 year old Neveah (Veah) Smith.  Veah and her family were the first to complete their application for The Heights.   They are excited to move into her brand-new apartment as soon as construction is complete.

Veah expresses her excitement in her own words. 

The Heights management is working hard to complete the building and move residents in as quickly as possible.    Project Manager Gary Latz provided an update on the progress.   “We have poured concrete for curbs and gutters, sidewalks and will start paving the streets and parking areas next week.   The siding contractor is busy installing LP siding on the south face of the building.  You can see the progress as you drive by on Hwy 61.  All the utililties are in place – water, sanitary sewer, electric and broadband are in the ground.  We just need to activate everything.”   Latz added that additional updates are available in his weekly blog at www.boreal.org.    Search for The Heights.

 The Heights, Bluffs is a 36-unit multi-family rental housing building.   Apartments include Studio, 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom units ranging from 427 sq. ft. to 840 sq. ft.   The three-story building is serviced by an elevator, and is constructed with modular components.
